That’s the sentiment echoed by NFL analyst Greg Cosell in a recent appearance on The Ross Tucker podcast.

Cosell expressed doubts about Elliott’s current ability to perform as a starting running back, citing his recent form with the New England Patriots and his final season in Dallas.

“I don’t think he is good enough to be a starting RB based on last year or even his last year in Dallas…can’t imagine they go into the season thinking Zeke Elliott is their #1 RB.”
