'We are planning everything wisely,' Iga Swiatek is ready for the Italian Open semi-final challenge despite scheduling difficulties

After a great hard court season, the WTA No.1 Iga Swiatek continues her purple patch of form into the clay season. After a Masters 1000 win in Madrid, she is en route to another title in Rome.

However, Swiatek had to rush into Italy with little to no time to rest and prepare for the tournament. Nonetheless, the Pole has shown her determination throughout her Rome outing so far and recently beat Madison Keys to make it to the last four.

In a recent interview on Tennis Channel, Swiatek explained about her physical health heading into the semis. Given the continuous tournaments from the past three weeks, the Pole ace has been under the pump with the scheduling and finally is on a good note with her health.

I feel great. Actually not having a day off yesterday I felt like it helped me you know be in the rhythm and my zone. But I also used today’s off. So I think we are planning everything wisely so I can be ready.  Iga Swiatek said

As the first one through to the semis, she now awaits her next opponent. The winner of Coco Gauff and Qinwen Zheng match will take on the number one ranked player.

Iga Swiatek continues her Swiftie craze at the Italian Open

Iga Swiatek has always been a huge fan of singer Taylor Swift. Recently, the American popstar released a new album “The Tortured Poets Department” which happens to be a double album. Comprising 31 songs, Swiatek also picked her favorite tracks from the album.

In conversation with the Tennis Channel, the Pole revealed her six favorite songs from the album.

I have you know 6 ones that I made a playlist of. Fortnight, The Alchemist, The Albatross, Chloe…” .  Iga Swiatek said

Once again she forgot the name of Swift’s song, which is ‘Chloe or Sam or Sophia or Marcus’. However, she assured the fans that she would surely listen to more of Taylor during the break after Rome.

Currently, Swiatek revealed to be listening to more of rock before entering the court and has been jazzing her way through the rounds. With only one match between her and the final spot, Swiatek would try to win her second title in a row.
